Memories Pet Life respects your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled in the app.
Information we collect
The app does not collect personal information on a developer-operated server.
No account registration is required.
The app uses photos and videos explicitly selected by the user for on-device editing, saving, sharing, and draft saving.
The app does not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics, or tracking.
Photos and videos
Photos and videos selected by the user are used to create life log cards, save or share generated content, and save drafts. Selected photos may also be used for Pet Calendar entries, calendar images, and locally rendered images for Home Screen widgets.
Selected photos and videos, generated images and videos, and draft data are not uploaded to servers operated by the developer.
When a selected photo or video includes date or location metadata, the app may use that information to suggest an initial date or place text.
The app does not use the camera permission or permission to access the device's current location.
Temporary video files
For video editing, the app may copy the selected video to temporary storage on the device. Temporary files are stored locally and are excluded from iCloud backup where possible. They can also be deleted from the Settings screen.
Drafts
Drafts may be saved on your device so you can continue editing later.
When a video draft is saved, the video file and thumbnail are stored locally on the device so the draft can be edited again later. When the draft is deleted, the related video file and thumbnail are also deleted.
Draft data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to a developer-operated server.
Pet Calendar and widget data
Pet Calendar may store selected photos, registered dates, weather icons, and photo position adjustment data on your device.
Pet Calendar data is not sent to a developer-operated server.
For Home Screen widgets, the app may store locally rendered images and minimal display data in app group storage on your device.
Widget data is used to display Home Screen widgets and is not sent to a developer-operated server.
When you delete a calendar entry in the app, related stored data may also be deleted.
When you delete the app, data stored by this app on your device is deleted as well.
The current version does not support iCloud sync or CloudKit sync for Pet Calendar.
In-app announcements
The app may fetch a public announcement JSON file to display in-app announcements. This request does not upload user photos, videos, edits, drafts, user IDs, device IDs, or advertising IDs.
In-app purchases
In-app purchases for watermark-free export of card images, videos, and calendar images are processed by Apple through the App Store.
The app uses StoreKit to check purchase status for the 7-Day Pass and Lifetime Pass.
The developer does not receive or store your payment card information.
